The service allows you to browse a part of the collection from your own browser. Finna contains just a small part of our materials. New objects are constantly being added. Searches can only be made in Finnish at the moment. For information about the future additions and the museum collection, please contact museum’s collection personnel.

The currently available materials are related to airline Finnair's (originally Aero Ltd) history from 1920's to 1960's. In a project funded by Finnair the photos and archive documents has been digitized and made available to the public. More material will be published during the autumn of 2017.
How can I use these materials?
The Finnish Aviation Museum’s pictures in Finna are free to download and use for non-commercial purposes, as long as you indicate the name of the photographer and the source (Finnish Aviation Museum, ilmailumuseo.finna.fi) when using them. The images are licenced under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0) licence.
The image size and quality is suitable for web use. For descriptions in English and if you wish to order chargeable high resolution images or to see our other materials, please contact the museum’s collection service.
